Epic Link:
I am seeing some extra hosts appear in ONOS. After some investigating, it looks like the macs of these new hosts are from switch interfaces.
Steps to reproduce:
Start ONOS (I've seen this on both 1 node and 7 node ONOS clusters. Logs are from a single node cluster)
Start Mininet with no controller set
Assign Switches
Delete a switch s5(in mn)
add switch s5, and re-add links to h5, s2, s1, s6 (in mn)
3 hosts now appear in ONOS hosts store(note I haven't done any pings yet):
id=8A:FA:22:06:27:61/-1, mac=8A:FA:22:06:27:61, location=of:0000000000006000/5, vlan=-1, ip(s)=[]
id=DA:D0:3B:47:2B:0F/-1, mac=DA:D0:3B:47:2B:0F, location=of:0000000000001000/3, vlan=-1, ip(s)=[]
id=DA:DB:32:07:13:D6/-1, mac=DA:DB:32:07:13:D6, location=of:0000000000002000/5, vlan=-1, ip(s)=[]
These macs correspond to the switch interfaces:
(<Intf s5-eth4>, '8a:fa:22:06:27:61')
(<Intf s5-eth3>, 'da:d0:3b:47:2b:0f')
(<Intf s5-eth2>, 'da:db:32:07:13:d6')
which should be linked to s6, s1, and s2 respectively.
