Setup:
- A switch assigned to Single Instance ONOS.
('ovs-vsctl set-controller s1 tcp:<onos1-ip>) - 'topology-events' show that every 10 seconds, 'PORT_STATS_UPDATED'
DeviceEvents are triggered.
This behavior is skewing the performance metrics by constantly invoking device events, interfering with other measurement critical timestamps.
It seems to stem form the new port statistics modules implemented a few days ago.
