Sprint:Goldeneye Black Sprint #2
When a ConsistentMap is created with relaxed consistency mode enabled we rely on published map update events to invalidate local cache entries. However, if the underlying client session (in copycat) disconnects (due to a network partition) we will no longer receive map events and therefore cannot guarantee the validity of reads. Furthermore, when the session is reestablished, the stale cache entries will continue to persist thereby leaving us with a out-of-sync cache indefinitely.
