Heap memory stuck at high usage level after long run of "demo installer"

set end of the log.

env:
3-node cluster; running demo installer on node 1; after 1~2 hours, start seeing st.Monitor reporting high heap memory usage.

stopping installer and clean all intents. the heap memory does not get released.
