Idea is to build a small testbed composed of ROADMS, potentially from multiple vendors.
High-level issues include:
- which SB protocol to use? TL1, OF1.3 vendor extensions (ONF optical transport group), NETCONF, etc.?
- who will supply the hardware?
The testbed may become part of the ONS showcase in June 2015.
